JWT Most Awarded Agency at the D&AD Impact Awards 2017

D&AD Impact seeks to identify and celebrate the great, transformative, creative ideas that have had real impact and, ultimately, contribute towards a better, fairer and more sustainable future for all. This new initiative is the result of a partnership between D&AD and Advertising Week.  

Creative teams across our network walked away with a total of eleven Pencils: one Black, two White and eight Wood.

JWT Amsterdam’s “School for Justice” earned a prestigious Black Pencil in Education, as well as one Wood Pencil. This campaign has a bold aim: to take underage girls in India out of prostitution and into prosecution.

“Unsafety Check,” developed by JWT New York to let Black people mark themselves unsafe on social media for being Black in America, earned one White Pencil in the Diversity & Equality category and one Wood Pencil in the Civic Engagement category.

We also took home a White Pencil in the Urban Living category for JWT London’s “Gravity Light.” Gravity Light is an off-grid light funded by Shell, that uses the power of gravity to create light.

Earning one Wood Pencil each in the Diversity & Equality category was JWT Canada’s “#20MinutesofAction4Change,”JWT Hong Kong’s “#MyRealCareerLine,” JWT Colombia’s “Equality Signs” and JWT Colombia’s “Breastfeeding Mannequin.”

JWT London's "#Makethefuture" campaign earned two Wood Pencil's in the Industry Evolution and Responsible Consumption categories.
