Cannes 2018 Winners: Film, Sustainable Development Goals, Glass, Titanium and Creative Effectiveness
After the final awards ceremony of Cannes Lions, we’ve officially added four more Lions to our overall tally – two Silver and two Bronze in the Film category. This brings our final 2018 Lions count to 23.
They earned their Silver Lion in the Other FMCG subcategory for “Ma’am,” a campaign that pokes fun at the experience of finding your first gray hair. The agency was also awarded a Bronze Lion for “The Great Robbery” in the Media/Entertainment subcategory.
JWT Sydney’s “Virtual Equality,” which used virtual reality to make a couple’s wedding dreams come true despite Australia’s gay marriage ban at the time, won a Silver Lion in the 360° & VR Film subcategory.
Our final winner of the night was JWT Bangkok for their “Hair Talk” campaign. “Hair Talk,” which tells the story of Rock Kwanlada’s life through the point of view of her hair, received a Bronze Lion in the Other FMCG subcategory.
