Blinks CEO Paula Puppi Named a Woman to Watch

On August 28, Meio & Mensagem and Ad Age will host their fifth annual Women to Watch Brazil Event. The event recognizes women who have made a difference in the advertising, media and marketing industries.

Among this year’s seven recipients is Paula Puppi, CEO of Blinks, a JWT affiliate company that specializes in digital media performance and branding.  

Paula previously worked in the real estate market for 10 years, before entering the digital advertising sector in 2005. In 2008, she joined Microsoft and took over their performance and target products in Brazil. She was responsible for launching their first retargeting tool and helped improve the monetization of the inventory of Microsoft properties in Brazil.  

In 2011, Paula was officially named the CEO of Blinks. Under Paula, the company has increased its revenue by 20-fold and became one of the largest advertisers in the Brazilian digital market. Today, Blinks has 170 employees, 50 midsize clients and 20 major accounts including Ambev, Google and FCA.  Paula is also a board member of IAB and continues to help the Brazilian digital market.  

Among the other 2017 Women to Watch honorees are Andiara Pettrerle, Vice President of Products and Operations at RBS; Gal Barradas, Partner and Co-CEO at BETC/Havas; Kiki Moretti, Founder and CEO at the In Press Group; Poliana Sousa, Director of Marketing, Media and Communcations at P&G; Silvana Balbo, Director of Marketing of Carrefour Brazil; and Tatiana Ponce, VP of Innovation at Nivea.
