These past few weeks, creative work from across our networks has shown brightly both in the D&AD Impact Awards and our quarterly Global Creative Council meeting.
The results of the 2017 D&AD Impact Awards were announced, and JWT Amsterdam received the honorable Black Pencil for their incredible “School for Justice” initiative. All in all, we picked up eleven Pencils making us one of the most awarded agencies worldwide. You can see a full list of our winners here.
Meanwhile, at the Global Creative Council meeting, we saw some brilliant work in progress shaping up to be Cannes Contenders for 2018. There was standout work from New York, London, San Juan, São Paulo, Shanghai, Sydney, Madrid, Milan, Paris and Amsterdam. I’m excited to keep a close eye on the work as it goes through production. However, we still need to push for more famous work as we can never have enough. Famous work not only brings awards, it brings new clients - both of which are high on the agenda.
So now is the time to push yourself, your team, your office, your country or region to relentlessly chase after famous work.
Onward and upward.
