NEW YORK, NY (February 28, 2013) – JWT New York’s Differenter Committee, which spearheads the agency’s diversity and inclusion initiatives, today unveiled its 2013 Innovators of Change, recognizing nine people who have been inspired by the world to create cultures that educate, encourage, and actively promote diversity in their respective fields.
Differenter’s 2013 Innovators of Change are:

Alixa Garcia and Naima Penniman, Creators of “Climbing Poe Tree”
The group will be honored at 6 p.m. tonight, February 28, at JWT New York. A documentary short film featuring five of the honorees—Keith Miller, Aria Lynn Doe, Chastity Lord, Dana Drucker-Solano, and Sanford Biggers—will premiere at the event.
Recording artist Christina Love Lee will also be performing a special musical number for attendees.
The Innovators of Change documentary film provides an in-depth look into the lives of five people around New York City who are changing lives in their communities and around the world. The film was written and produced by Differenter.
