Kuala Lumpur, October 3, 2014 - JWT Malaysia has brought Nixon Lee on board in the newly created role of Digital Integration Director, a move that underscores that agency’s commitment to delivering campaigns and brand communications that work across all media.
“We are pleased to have Nixon on board to help stronger digital integration in every aspect, from ideation and strategy to execution. By the end 2015 we intend to be a full service, digitally-equipped agency and Nixon is only the start,” said Nicole Tan, Managing Director of JWT Malaysia.
Lee joins the team from XM Malaysia, JWT’s digital agency. Bringing Nixon into JWT in a full time role will help drive stronger digital integration into every aspect of communication strategy and ideation.
Lee, a passionate digital advocate, has 14 years’ experience in spearheading business continuity execution and strategy direction. He has implemented marketing and creative strategies for a wide range of brands including Hwang DBS, Bursa Malaysia, Tune Group, and Panasonic.
"Our clients are increasingly asking for digitally integrated ideas. Currently, many companies in this market still tend to create separate digital ideas, that are often more tactical, with digital agencies, and are not able to justify results up the value chain,” said Tan. “However, globally we see that integrated campaigns that deliver a consistent brand messages across all platforms deliver better results. Creative agencies with brand expertise that can lead and integrate campaigns have a critical role to play.”
“Nixon’s appointment emphasizes our commitment to building JWT’s digital capabilities in creating immersive emotional connection with brands. Always testing new approaches and thinking in the cauldron of what matters most, he is a practical digital maestro that knows what it takes to create connections that creates experiences. I’m chuffed with his move to this new role at JWT," said Rueben Anthony, Managing Director of XM Malaysia.
