He graduated in 1989 from the School of Public Communications at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras. In 1991 he started his advertising career as a Junior Copywriter at Leo Burnett Puerto Rico, working for accounts such as Bacardi, Kellogg’s, Medalla Beer, Citibank and Procter & Gamble. In 1992, he moved to Young & Rubicam Puerto Rico, where he reached the position of Associate Creative Director doing outstanding work for Heineken, Radio Shack, Colgate-Palmolive, and AT&T among others. In 1999, he was given the opportunity to be Creative Vice President at McCann-Erickson Puerto Rico. When he entered McCann-Erikson, the agency reached the number one position in the industry, obtaining the first Gold Lion for Puerto Rico at the prestigious Cannes International Advertising Festival in Cannes, France. In late 2002, J. Walter Thompson hired him as VP Regional Creative Director for Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. JWT has become the number one agency in the country and the most internationally awarded agency with recognitions such as D&AD, One Show, Clio and Cannes. In 2010, Rosado was chosen as one of the decade’s Top 20 Creatives in Latin America and the Iberian Peninsula by Adlatina and was appointed member of JWT Global Creative Council. In 2012 JWT San Juan won seven Lions at Cannes, including the first Grand Prix for Puerto Rico and the Caribbean, and he has continued to win multiple Lions each year. Jaime currently serves as the Chief Creative Officer of J. Walter Thompson’s LATAM region and as the Global Creative Director for Unilever’s Sunsilk brand.
