4 Pencil Wins at The One Show 2018

Last week, The One Show announced the Pencil Winners for the best creative work from around the world.  

Creative teams from across our network walked away with a total of four Pencils: one Gold, one Silver, two Bronze across multiple categories.

JWT London’s “Ash to Art” campaign for the Glasgow School of Art earned a Gold Pencil in the Intellectual Property.

For this campaign, JWT London worked with the Glasgow School, sending 25 world-famous artists each a piece of charcoal salvaged from the Mackintosh building fire. The idea was for artists to use the charcoal to create new works of art from the ashes.

The “Safe Cap” campaign from GTB Brazil/Sao Paulo for Ford Motor Company received a Silver Pencil in Intellectual Property.

JWT New York’s “The Fin” for Northwell Health earned a Bronze Pencil in Intellectual Property. The amphibious leg was created to help amputees easily go straight from land into the water and back.

Our final Bronze Pencil was for JWT Hong Kong’s “#MyRealCareerLine” in Social Influencer Marketing. This video was created to raise awareness of the wider issues surrounding objectification and inequality.
