26 at the Clio Awards
The Clio Awards is an international awards competition for the creative industry. Founded in 1959, the Clios—annually and throughout the year—recognize the work, the agencies and the talent that push boundaries and establish a new precedent.
This year, our network took home a combined total of 26 Clio awards: one Gold, six Silver, 12 Bronze and seven Shortlists.
At this year’s Clio Awards, JWT Casablanca’s “Break the Speed” for Nestlé took home a Gold Clio in press. This campaign captures the moment when an individual takes a break, even with the speeding timeline of everyday occurrences. This campaign also took home three Silvers and one Bronze in press and outdoor.
JWT Paris’s “Forbidden Stories” campaign received one Silver in digital craft and one Bronze in public relations. After the murder of Maltese journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia, 45 journalists came together with Freedom Voices Network to keep her investigative work alive. They gave Daphne a new voice and will continue to keep stories alive.
We also received one Bronze and one Silver award for JWT New York’s “Aria“ campaign for Bongiovi Acoustic Labs in product design. JWT San Francisco’s “19 Crimes” campaign for Treasury Wine Estates received one Bronze in digital craft and JWT London’s “The Coffee Line” for Shell received one Bronze in public relations.
