J. Walter Thompson appoints Marianne Admardatine as Indonesia CEO
JAKARTA, 24 November 2017 - J. Walter Thompson Asia Pacific today announced the appointment of Marianne Admardatine as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for J. Walter Thompson Company Indonesia, comprising Mirum and J. Walter Thompson, effective January 2018.
Admardatine will lead J. Walter Thompson Company’s Indonesia operations, working with the agency leads to further accelerate the network’s capabilities including strategic brand building, digital transformation, customer experience, marketing automation and commerce activation. She will also be responsible for driving thought leadership and building business engagement with C-suite clients to initiate integrated campaigns.
Marianne has extensive experience across brand management and marketing, media, activation, public relations and social media. Over the course of her career, she has worked on a wide range of accounts including Indonesian Ministries of Tourism, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Communication and Informatics, Bank of Indonesia, HSBC, Unilever, Pertamina, SONY, Disney, Tokopedia, Ford, Google, Twitter, LINE, Bukalapak and Prudential.
Until recently, Marianne held senior management roles, including responsibility for network and business development, within the Ogilvy Group Indonesia. She was also Managing Director of Ogilvy PR and Pulse Communications, and in August this year she was named as one of Campaign Asia’s “Women to Watch”
