In the spirit of the 50th anniversary of the Basic Ad Course created by the late great Bill Sharp the first African-American copy supervisor, J. Walter Thompson New York launched the Young Commodores program. Adding to the agency’s legacy of firsts, the Young Commodores program is the first ever high school and college mash up where students get a fully immersive advertising and business experience while managing a non-profit client.
