World Water Day is about taking action to tackle the water crisis. Today, over 663 million people live without a safe water supply close to home.

 ACCIONA, a leading supplier of sustainable infrastructure solutions and renewable energy projects worldwide, wanted to contribute to World Water Day with the "Turn off the tap" campaign, that aims to raise awareness of the environmental and economic effects waste water.

We decided to show the problem by constructing a giant pile of dirty dishes and place it in the middle of the river of Bilbao.

The sculpture managed to catch people’s attention outdoors and in the media. In a few hours it had reached over 3 million people on social networks and had over 300 thousand impressions.
