Communications to grow core luxury goods and services operation

Doha, Qatar. 30 January 2019. J. Walter Thompson Doha – part of the J. Walter Thompson Company, the world’s best known marketing communications brand and a WPP company – announced today that it has been awarded the marketing communications account of Alfardan Group. One of the Middle East’s most prestigious family-owned conglomerates in luxury goods and services, Alfardan Group instigated a fiercely competitive tender process involving multiple agencies.

J. Walter Thompson has been tasked with developing the strategic communications plan to grow Alfardan Group’s core luxury goods services from a highly successful family business into a globally recognised luxury brand. Over the course of the last six decades, Alfardan Group has evolved from a flourishing venture in the pearl-trading business to become the region’s premier supplier of luxury products and services across multiple sectors ranging from automotive to jewellery, and property to hospitality.
