(Mexico DF, October 16, 2012) -- Andrés Martínez joins JWT Mexico as Creative VP, with his 20-year background in the advertising industry. He will start serving in his new position on October 15TH and report directly to agency CEO José Luis Betancourt.
“Andrés’s background and profile will bring integrated communications to the agency with an innovative spin consistent with the business plans of the brands we handle. His leadership will be an inspiration and raise the group’s respect, and we will rise to the level of the vertiginous times we live in. Such a respected figure will help our firm grow as an agency and generate a lot of new traditional and nontraditional business,” said Betancourt.
The challenge Andrés will face in this position is to continue producing outstanding results, under the premise that all success must be directed to our customers’ success. “JWT Mexico runs one of the most powerful creative departments nationwide, so my work will focus on further increasing an already superb performance and streamlining the agency’s creative processes so JWT can work in a truly integrated manner and deliver a brilliant creative product.”
He added that the best work an agency produces goes through its customers and their interest in making their brands stand out, which is why we need to produce relevant communication through creativity: “Creative opportunities in this day and age occur with clients in any area, in any communication discipline and any medium. Great creativity can appear at any time and on any platform, which is why this is an exciting time for creatives and clients to be alive. Today we can have more fun, because everything is alive,” he added.
