Head of Creative Technology & Digital Production / J. Walter Thompson Lisbon
Rodrigo joined J. Walter Thompson Lisboa in 2013 as Head of Creative Technology & Digital Production. Rodrigo has to further develop JWT's strong digital capabilities and ensure JWT is at the forefront of all things digital.
At 23, he started to work in Barcelona where he was invited to work as UI/UX Designer in GEC (Group UOC) to develop e-learning projects for clients such as "la Caixa", Generalitat de Catalunya, Red.es or Gas Natural.
In 2003 he decided to change his life and get back to his homeland, Valencia where he started his own digital agency, creating global projects for organizations such as Valencia City Council, Valencia Metro (FGV), KPN Spain, Lubasa, Bioparc Valencia, and collaborate with national agencies like Bassat Ogilvy or Publips Group.
In 2009 he was headhunted to work in Leo Burnett Iberia and moved to Lisbon to take over as Head of Digital Production. He worked for multinational companies such as Samsung, Kellogg's, Diageo, Fiat, Unilever, Amnesty International and MTV among others.
In 2011 he embraces the challenge of working in a software house as Head of Interaction Design. PHC Software is widely used among more than 132.000 costumers in diferent countries.
With Rodrigo as Head of Creative Technology & Digital Production, JWT Lisboa grew and attracted new clients like Vodafone, 3M, Ikea, KitKat, Bayer, Galp, Fujitsu, Primavera.
He currently lives with his wife and two daughters in Parede, near Lisbon close to the Atlantic Ocean.
