Week of November 20, 2017
This Saturday, November 25th, marks the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women – a day dedicated to raising awareness of the fact that women around the world are subject to rape, domestic violence, and other forms of violence.
How can we help spread the word about the elimination of violence against women? Through these impactful campaigns from our offices, we’ve tried to do just that.
Our Toronto office launched 20minutes4change.org, a continuation of their 2016 initiatives to end sexual assault by empowering dads to teach their sons how to be agents of positive change. The relaunched campaign takes the initiative one step further by providing dads with a “Consent Script” to teach their sons what consent is.
In partnership with The Women and Men Progressive Movement, our Bangkok office launched “Home…is not a Boxing Ring,” a VDO ad that hopes to help people understand that violence against women is not normal. (Image from campaign shown above).
Keep an eye out for additional work supporting this effort from our London office.
