Advertising is my passion. And I’m still in love with it. It’s a demanding relationship, of course, because it deserves commitment, flexibility, never ending energy and many nights up.
My dad was an advertising man and from when I was a child he used to take me to the sets. In other words, it was written in the stars that sooner or later I would join an agency: it happened in 1990 when Leo Burnett Milan offered me a job as a writer.
This is where I met who was to become my long standing partner Enrico Dorizza, at that time my Art Director. We did a lot of good work together and we were both promoted to Group Creative Directors, travelling around the network wherever the network needed a strong push to new business or creative quality. We were also invited to join the LB WW Creative Board as permanent members. In 2010 I was the first Italian speaker at Cannes Festival, running the Wildfire seminar.

Sergio Rodriguez and Enrico Dorizza will take on the respective roles of CEO and Chairman, JWT Italia, sharing all of the operational decisions for the agency and maintaining their existing responsibilities for the creative product of the Milan and Rome offices.
