We are seeking a copywriter with strong digital and social media experience who has worked on a variety of market sectors with previous agency experience. As a copywriter you will be expected to develop your skills, working with your passion for writing to expand and improve. There will also be the requirement to use creative instincts to develop engaging concepts to fulfill client expectations. The role will involve using feedback from colleagues to sharpen writing skills and create finished pieces that attract and persuade. 

A Day in the Life:

  • Provide vision, strategy, and insight for integrated campaigns with emphasis on creating thoughtful, entertaining, cohesive copy for all channels, including digital/social media
  • Work with Account Managers and Planners to ensure creative concepts and copy tones are on brand and strategically sound
  • Manage the quality of copywriting deliverables, ensuring they meet client expectations
  • Assist the development, delivery and execution of customized integrated content for clients, including creative ideation for digital content and community management
  • Concept and collaborate with other creative partners, including Designers and Art Directors
  • Understanding the message the client is seeking to deliver and translating this into attractive copy
  • Receiving feedback and using it to grow and improve as a copywriter

 What you’ll need:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Copywriter
  • Capability to think creatively and translate ideas into copy
  • A portfolio that showcases strong creative thinking
  • Strong collaboration and presentation skills
  • Experience in writing strong, succinct copy that is grammatically correct in a variety of brand voices
  • A flexible approach and willingness to adapt ideas to the needs of clients
  • A start-up mentality, with an ability to meet deadlines and work in a pressurized environment
