The Project Manager is responsible for direct interaction and continuous communication between all agency team members to manage small to mid-scale projects from inception to final delivery of materials. The Project Manager is accountable for developing and overseeing all steps of the project life cycle and proactively guiding projects through the internal workflow process. These duties may include creating and managing timelines, internal resources and collects creative content for approval and distribution in the most efficient manner.
-Effectively plan for and manage workflow and resources for both immediate and long term projects
-Define project stakeholders and create project plans to distribute to assigned team after vetting through Discipline Leads for approval
-Set up and lead internal meetings on assigned projects (Project kick-off/Internal Review/Creative Review/Pre-Production Kick-off/ Status Meetings)
-Communicates scope/schedule variances to team and provides solutions for addressing change
-Assign creative team(s) with account specific Creative Director
-Work with other departments to ensure jobs are sent to the next phase with proper information
-Communicate internal and client changes to the team at all levels
-Consult regularly with account management to ensure jobs are prioritized accordingly
-Schedule and lead internal status meetings
-Route all materials to secure internal approvals
-Partners with studio, creative, art buyer and print production in managing digital assets and providing production specs
-Possess strong knowledge of integrated media (TV/Print/Radio) and digital execution
-Assess project risks and develop risk mitigation plan
-Able to push back appropriately on client fire drills within reason
-Process, assign and track Change Requests throughout the life cycle of the project
-Supervise change management plans that accurately account for scope revisions
-Partners effectively with all capabilities to ensure timely deliverability of tasks
-Responsible for managing the Quality Assurance (QA) of projects to ensure that Change Requests are executed properly
-Perform administrative closure to ensure project is approved and accepted in writing from Client
Knowledge and Skills
BA/BS Degree required
3 to 5 years experience managing integrated deliverables and project activities including prioritizing, budgeting, estimating and process implementation.
Experience working within an advertising agency environment, skilled at working with Client management and familiar with marketing communications strategy and processes.
Well-organized, detail-oriented, energetic, proactive, independent and responsive to feedback
Proficient with MS Office applications; strong interpersonal capabilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills and prepared for fast-paced multi-tasking environment.
