J. Walter Thompson Atlanta is seeking an Executive Broadcast Producer. The Executive Broadcast Producer is responsible for leadership and administration of the broadcast team, including: casting, audio-visual services, film library, business affairs. et cetera. Responsible for dealing with studios, participates in bid submission, pre-production, shooting, recording, editing, animations.Responsible for all pre-, production and post on content needing to be produced. Maintains senior-level contact with Agency creative, account management and client services staff.
Duties and Responsibilities
Monitors the scheduling of people and personnel for all production activities (producers, sessions, studio time, facilities, et cetera)
Books freelance, vendor and studio facility time, and processes appropriate purchase orders through accounting system.
Works with Finance and team business managers to assure production invoices are processed appropriately.
Assists producers in preparing bid packages and shoot books.
Provides business affairs support for any of the many possible production tasks as needed.
Responds to requests for information and assistance from client service terms.
Provides input for director and vendor selection process.
Plans the production process.
Collaborates with producers and creative staff to achieve company goals.
Helps to train and mentor producers in all disciplines.
Keeps abreast of current trends and latest technological advances.
Participates and supports new business efforts through handling of audiovisual equipment rental, booking, and scheduling production sessions.
10+ years ad agency experience with 7 years minimum in production
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Strong problem solving skills and detail oriented
