The Gunn Report, arguably the most highly revered index showcasing the very best of creative excellence in global advertising, has named J. Walter Thompson (Sydney and Melbourne) as the second most awarded agency in Australia and number 23 globally.
Simon Langley, ECD, J. Walter Thompson Sydney said the report findings were a true indication that J. Walter Thompson Australia continually produced creative work of a world class standard.
“We are proud to achieve second place in The Gunn Report’s Australian rankings and be recognised as the 23rd most awarded agency globally… our goal now will be to achieve the number one ranking. Having our work recognised alongside the world’s best creative work is indeed an honour and one which we share with our clients and everyone involved in the creative development process.”
“2015 was J. Walter Thompson Australia’s best year yet and achieving such a high ranking in the Gunn Report is testament to all our hard work.”
The most highly ranked individual J Walter Thompson campaign was the moving “I Touch Myself” campaign created for the Cancer Council and featuring rock legend Chrissy Amphlett. Created by JWT Sydney, “I Touch Myself” placed 7th globally in the “All Guns Blazing” category, the highest ranked Australian agency.
