Suntory Pepsico’s Aquafina is the market leader brand in the bottled water category in Vietnam. The brand managed to gain this leadership on the strength of a long-running property developed by JWT Vietnam – “The Aquafina Pure Fashion”. Started in 2007, this campaign is unique in that it is the first time in Vietnam that fashion was used as a platform for a brand’s communications efforts. It was conceptualized with very modest investments but we managed to stretch out the monies to TV invitations, print, PR, events and packaging.The 7 year journey reaches 36 cities nationwide, finds out top talented fashion designers and maintains the brand position as market-leader with 44% Share in the bottled water category.
