Problem: Travelers consider Syria Duty Free only as a source of Tobacco, Alcohol and perfume ignoring all the other sections and the variety of product offering. Moreover, Syria Duty Free has no clear positioning since they changed their brand name and identity.
Target: Inbound and outbound travelers, who pass through the different Syrian borders whether it’s airport, seaport or land. They’re pre-occupied, trying to follow a certain routine & trying to make sure not to forget anything important.
Task: Build the image of Syria Duty Free and introduce people to its different sections and product offerings.
Insight: Travelers are usually too busy working, celebrating or being a tourist; to remember every single one that is waiting for them back home. The strike often comes when they are at the airport. This is when they start thinking of each and every one of their loved ones. This is when the GUILT TRIP begins…
