    Dan Ingall Returns To China As Managing Director of JWT Shanghai

    Appointed by JWT Asia Pacific CEO Tom Doctoroff, Dan Ingall has been named the new managing director of JWT Shanghai. Ingall joins from JWT London, where he served as the Global Business Director for Nokia over the past two years. Ingall replaces Eric Lee, who is leaving the agency with Executive Creative Director Elvis Chau in June to start a new venture. (more...)

    Worldmade in action: JWT Paris “High Five” connects new talent to global network

    Each year, the Association for the Promotion of French Advertising (AACC) invites promising advertising students to visit agencies across France. Contributing to JWT's history of firsts, JWT Paris wanted to do more than just open the doors to its agency. Using JWT's Worldmade creative philosophy, JWT Paris decided to showcase the breadth of our network by creating High Five, the world's first global speed recruiting video operation. Through five minute video interviews with JWTers from five offices across five continents, High Five gave fifty students the opportunity to land one of five internships outside France. (more...)

    JWT’s Asia Pacific Network Honored With 20 Medals at ADFEST 2013

    JWT’s medal haul at this year’s ADFEST is a true testament to the depth of the agency's network across Asia. A collective 20 metals were awarded to JWT Asia Pacific, including three Gold, ten Silver, and seven Bronze. JWT’s representation at ADFEST 2013 extended past its victories—Valerie Cheng, executive creative director at JWT Singapore, served as this year’s Jury President for the Interactive (Cyber) Lotus, and newly created category, Mobile Lotus. Thanks to a 'food for thought' inspired office renovation by M Moser Associates, the new space evokes a cafe-like energy ideal for communication and creativity. With features including bamboo floors and workstations made of Chinese oak, we won't be surprised if it evokes a little envy too. The coveted award marks a successful year where JWT Shanghai was involved in many of China's ad industry key "firsts," including China's first Grand Prix Lion for its Samsonite "Heaven and Hell" ad campaign.     JWT APAC visualizes travel hell for your suitcase, snags Cannes Lion awards

    Emerging from the luggage carousel, it sometimes seems like your suitcase has been through its own version of hell while you sipped Mimosas in first class. In a campaign for Samsonite, JWT Shanghai visualized the warzone that is luggage handling—emphasizing just how essential a tough suitcase is. The campaign was so effective, JWT Shanghai walked away with a total of three Grand Prix, two Gold, one silver and one Bronze medal for the work at September's Spikes Asia awards ceremony.
