Each year, the Association for the Promotion of French Advertising (AACC) invites promising advertising students to visit agencies across France. Contributing to JWT's history of firsts, JWT Paris
wanted to do more than just open the doors to its agency. Using JWT's Worldmade
creative philosophy, JWT Paris decided to showcase the breadth of our network by creating High Five
, the world's first global speed recruiting video operation. Through five minute video interviews with JWTers from five offices across five continents, High Five gave fifty students the opportunity to land one of five internships outside France.

explores how the principles of the American Dream echo across borders. Once considered a national ideal, the American Dream
is no longer exclusive to the United States. In a JWT Intelligence survey taken last October, 5,625 people in 25 countries were asked to express key components of their nation’s Dream--90% of them revealed factors that align with those of the American Dream. (more...)

Exciting news out of JWT Atlanta
. Today Pennzoil and Quaker State announced that they have named JWT Atlanta agency of record in North America. Effective immediately, the agency will be leading brand strategy, brand planning, social strategy and execution, creative development and production for the Pennzoil and Quaker State brands in North America. Where does inspiration come from? The top of a mountain? The bottom of a beer glass? For the fine arts students who competed in JWT’s second annual Wall of Inspiration at Spikes Asia, inspiration came in the form of wise words spoken by respected agency executives.
On Monday, Advertising Age
announced that Rohit Dhamija and Udayan Chakravarty, two young creatives at JWT Delhi
are the winners of the 2012 Global Cover Contest. Their winning cover design, “Streets”, has earned Rohit and Udayan a trip to the Cannes Lions Festival
where they will be honored and celebrated amongst a global audience. We were able to catch the winning pair before they fly out to Cannes to speak with them about the competition, how it felt to win big, and what they’re most excited for in Cannes.
Today, Millward Brown released their annual rankings of the BrandZ Top 100 Most Valuable Global Brands
. The report is quite in-depth, and required reading for anyone working with or competing with global brands. While the list itself is always interesting (what is it about Top X lists that we love?), more interesting to me are the macro trends that are revealed when you analyze the data over time.
