“Zahl’ mit Grips” (“Play with your brain”) is a trivia game that rewards smart players with discounts on Berocca’s brain-boosting product. What is Berocca, you say? Berocca is a multivitamin and mineral supplement packed with B-vitamins and nutrients designed to sharpen your body and mind.
Taking a cue from the product’s “think smarter, act faster” branding, the game uniquely threads together brand messaging, trivia entertainment and e-commerce into a fun experience for site visitors. It’s also entirely in German, so unless you’re fluent, Auf Wiedersehen!
To make it all happen, Tom Davis, Digital Director of JWT Germany, worked closely with Douwe Dirks, Digital Director and head of JWT Amsterdam’s gaming practice. JWT Germany led the account and initial brief from Davis while JWT Amsterdam came up with the trivia idea and oversaw the game’s production. The game was built on top of “Trivalus”, a trivia gaming platform developed by JWT Amsterdam.
The JWT teams integrated seamlessly to deliver a great result for the client and make this first-of-its-kind game a reality.
