MANILA – The celebration didn’t stop for JWT Manila as the agency took home three metals at the Tinta Awards held last January 25, 2013.
The “Nonstop Karaoke” print campaign was for Johnson & Johnson’s Bactidol, a throat solution that gives relief from sore throat for up to 12 hours. Each print ad visualizes a mashup of favorite karaoke song titles rendered as neon signs to communicate nonstop and worry-free singing thanks to Bactidol.
The agency won a silver in the print campaign category, as well as two bronze trophies for single print ads “Closer You & I Don’t Wanna Be” and “Wake Me Up Before You Go Go On Girl”.
The agency’s “Centennial False Cover” for Manila Hotel was also a finalist in the Special Print Media Execution category.
Touted as the toughest print show in the Philippines, the Tinta Awards is on its third year of recognizing creativity in print media.
