Dubai, UAE (14 January 2013) - JWT Dubai announced today the appointment of Brett Ford as Head of Digital for JWT Dubai. In his new role, Ford will be responsible for leading the digital agenda for the Dubai office reporting in to Kieran O’Sullivan, Regional Head of Digital for JWT MENA.
Ford joins JWT from Emirates Airlines, where he managed the online brand communications business as Digital Communications Manager.
Commenting on the appointment O’Sullivan explained “The caliber of expertise Ford brings to the table together with his diverse skills set in technology, innovation, strategy and creative vision, mirrors that of our worldmade philosophy - we are thrilled he has signed with JWT.” O’Sullivan added “His acquisition is on the back of a very successful digital year for the group and Ford will play an integral role in our aggressive digital growth plans across MENA in 2013.”
Before joining Emirates Airlines, Ford worked in the UK as Director of Communication Innovation for DDB on the Global McDonald’s account. Prior to DDB, Ford worked with JWT London as Board Account Director and Head of Digital for the Shell (Motorsport and Retail), Kellogg’s and Bayer global accounts.
