JWT Atlanta helped the Travis Manion Foundation promote participation in their annual 9/11 Heroes Run with a campaign that asks people to “5K for the 9K” who've lost their lives since 9/11. The race will occur simultaneously in 29 American cities and 6 international locations, including military bases in Afghanistan and Iraq. All proceeds from the events will go to the Travis Manion Foundation, a Memorial Fund that assists wounded and disabled veterans and the families of "Fallen Heroes." The Foundation was created by the friends and family of Travis Manion, a Marine who lost his life during his final tour in Iraq. Their mission is to honor the fallen by challenging the living. The campaign work includes broadcast, event posters, bib numbers, race t-shirts and a virtual race bib creator on Facebook.
